About This Role

We’re hiring our first People Operations Coordinator to own the internal processes that keep our team moving. You’ll lead onboarding, help launch our first benefits program, support recruiting, and maintain internal organization across both full-time employees and 1099 contractors.

You’ll be on-site at our West Deptford, NJ HQ and work directly with leadership to design and manage clean, scalable people systems. It’s the perfect role for someone early in their HR or operations career who’s hungry to build.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Create and manage offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packets (W2 + 1099)

  • Coordinate system access, equipment, and day-one logistics

  • Build and own 30-60-90 day onboarding flows

  • Run clean offboarding workflows and documentation


Benefits & People Ops

  • Help implement our first benefits program (health, gym, education)

  • Track stipend usage and handle monthly reimbursements

  • Prep monthly payroll changes (new hires, bonuses, exits)

  • Maintain people trackers and records (contractor database, employee list, start dates, etc.)


Recruiting Support

  • Write and post job descriptions

  • Review resumes and run intro screening calls

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring pipelines

  • Keep our org chart and team directory updated


Internal Coordination

  • Book travel, order team swag, manage internal logistics

  • Build and maintain our Notion wiki and process documentation

  • Assist with light culture-building (birthdays, milestones, etc.)

Requirements

  • Have 1–3 years experience in HR, admin, people ops, or recruiting coordination

  • Are incredibly organized and systems-oriented

  • Write clearly and communicate professionally

  • Are based in South Jersey and excited to be on-site full time

  • Are excited to help build something fast-moving and impactful
