Big margins feel great. Big money feels better.
If you’re holding out for 20%+ on every pair, you’re probably moving too slow, choking cash flow, and getting beat by resellers who sell faster at sane margins.
Here’s the playbook to fix it.

The Real Goal: Profit per Month, not per Pair
High margin with slow sell-through loses to lower margin with speed.
Simple math you can use:
Days to Sell (DTS) = average days from list → sold
Turns/Month = 30 ÷ DTS
Monthly Return on Cash (MRC) ≈ Margin × Turns/Month
Example:
Waiting for 20% on a pair that takes 30 days to sell
→ 0.20 × (30/30 = 1) = 20%/month
Taking 8% on a pair that sells in 7 days
→ 0.08 × (30/7 ≈ 4.3) = ~34%/month
Lower margin wins—because you cycle cash more times.

Target Margins that Scale
Bricks: ~8–12% is healthy for most resellers
High volume (≥ $500k/mo): often 4–8% on bricks
If you’re consistently above 15–20%, you’re likely under-listed, over-priced, or both.

The 5 Numbers That Matter
Keep it stupid simple:
Minimum Payout (per size): the lowest net you’ll accept after all fees.
DTS (by channel): how long it takes to sell.
Turns/Month: 30 ÷ DTS.
MRC: Margin × Turns/Month (aim to push this up).
Aging: % of inventory older than 30/60/90 days (lower is better).

How to Trade Margin for Speed (Without Losing Money)
Grab the first sale
Use Bulk Price Change → Liquidate to undercut the lowest ask and win position on high-velocity SKUs. Matching keeps you second; undercut gets you paid.
Automate the race (with a floor)
Turn on Auto-Pricing in KNET:
Mode: Undercut (not match) so you’re first in line
Minimum Payout Price Mode: set your floor per size; KNET undercuts down to that floor and stops
You get speed and protection—no babysitting.
List everywhere, always
Cross-list every sneaker to all major channels:
StockX, GOAT, eBay, KICKS CREW, POIZON, TikTok Shop, KNET, KNET B2B, Surge.
If a channel’s weak on price, raise the list price there—your minimum payout blocks bad sales.
Auto-delist keeps inventory synced; no oversells.
Weekly price refresh
Auto-pricing mostly moves down. Once a week:
Review key SKUs
Lift prices where market recovered
If a listing feels stale, deactivate + re-cross-list to refresh placement
Source with volume and speed in mind
Use KNET’s price search to see net payout by size/channel.
Buy where your stack (promos/cashback) + minimum payout = quick, safe flips.

Quick Checklist
Set minimum payout per size before you list
Bulk undercut to spark first sales
Auto-Pricing = Undercut + Minimum Payout
Cross-list to every channel, every time
Weekly: lift winners, refresh stale listings
Track DTS, Turns/Month, MRC, 30/60/90-day aging
Where to Sell (keep it simple)
Use the places where you can control price and move volume.
Some pairs can go on apps (StockX/GOAT) when the spread is there.
Other channels have less competition and better control.
TikTok Shop was strong for UGG last year.
There are also low-key channels not crowded yet (names withheld).
Point is: don’t judge a buy only by StockX/GOAT asks.
UGG is a “sell near retail” game. The win is how well you source and how fast you move.
If you’re on KNET, listing, price floors, and fulfillment are handled in one place.
You can push the same SKU to many outlets and keep payouts steady without babysitting.

Signs Your Margin Is Too High
You brag about $30/pair but only sell a handful each week
Lots of watchers, not a lot of sales
Inventory aging past 30–60 days
You’re tied for lowest ask instead of owning the lowest ask

Final Take
High margins look impressive on screenshots, but they rarely scale. The resellers winning in 2025 aren’t chasing perfect profits—they’re cycling cash fast, keeping aging low, and letting minimum payouts protect the downside. Shift your mindset to speed over ego, set your floors, list everywhere, and let the turns compound.
